Mission Statement: We work with gay and bisexual men, other men who have sex with men, and transgender individuals who are experiencing multiple health disparities. Our objective is to reduce HIV transmission and acquisition and the risks that can result from substance use.

The Alexis Project was named after Alexis Rivera who died on March 28, 2012, at the age of 34, from complications related to HIV. Alexis was a proud Latina transwoman, a community activist, a peer advocate and a gatekeeper.
